Justin Trudeau will be the first sitting Canadian prime minister to participate in Toronto's Pride parade, its organizers have an**unced, when he marches in it later this year.

Trudeau, who was elected as the county's second-youngest prime minister in October, will headline the July 3 parade alongside activists from Black Lives Matter; a number of Ministers of Parliament; trans activists Alex Abramovich and Susan Gapka; and Michelle DuBarry, the Guinness World Record Holder for Oldest Performing Drag Queen.

On his personal Twitter account, Trudeau said he was looking forward to marching again — this time as prime minister. He previously participated in the parade as a candidate in 2015. Read more...
