A survey conducted by the Pew Research Center found that 51% of Americans think Apple should comply with the court order and unlock the iPhone, while 38% think they shouldn't and 11% remain undecided See also: FBI director on iPhone privacy case: 'Stop saying the world is ending' The survey was conducted between Feb. 18-21, and polled 1,002 adults — half of whom were interviewed on a cell phone and half of whom were interviewed on a landline. **tably, both Democrats and Republicans were both strongly in favor of Apple unlocking the iPhone; 56% of Republicans polled and 55% of Democrats thought the company should comply with the court order, according to the survey.
