Honeywell, United Tech held merger talks: sources
(Reuters) - Aerospace component suppliers Honeywell International Inc and United Tech**logies Corp have held talks about a possible merger, but United Tech was convinced U.S. antitrust authorities would reject the deal, sources familiar with the talks said on Monday.
