Chicago is shaking it up for the 30th anniversary of the ultimate '80s teen movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

From May 20 to 22, the city will host Ferris Fest, including a screening and film-themed events and tours that would make Bueller proud. The film was originally released on June 11, 1986.

The highlight could very well be the planned recreation of the parade in the film, in which Bueller commandeers a float and lip syncs while all of Chicago joins in the party.*Ferris Fest organizers say the parade recreation will include "surprises." Read more...
