Railway surprise check to reduce technical glitches
 

A spate of technical faults has spurred the Central Railway to carry out super checks on maintenance and repair work.The surprise checks will be done for repair and maintenance work of rakes, tracks, signalling and Over Head Equipment (OHE) wires. As of **w regular maintenance of tracks is carried out during the weekend mega blocks on both harbour and main lines.
