Downpour creates snarls, hits immersion processions
 

Heavy downpour on Monday evening caused traffic snarls in various parts of the city. The rainfall recorded from 8.30am to 8.30pm by IMD in Colaba was 0.4 mm and Santa Cruz 13 mm. This caused great inconvenience to those heading towards beaches and artificial ponds for the fifth day of Ganpati immersions.
