Tech**logy to Improve TV Viewing for Color Blind People **w Integrated Into Set-Top-Box Chips

The Eyeteq image processing algorithms are being*commercialized by Spectral Edge, a spin-out company of the University of East Anglia. The company just an**unced*Eyeteq has just been integrated with the Cannes set-top-box chipset from*STMicroelectronics, a maker of cable TV receiver tech**logy. Manufacturers of set-top-boxes with the chipset will **w be able to offer color blind customers the option to engage Eyeteq, hopefully for free. We also look forward to this and similar tech**logy to be integrated into TVs, computer monitors, and other displays as a part of an overall effort to help address all types of disabilities.
