President Obama Shows Off His Selfie Skills in Wild Photo With Bear Grylls

President Barack Obama isn't afraid of the great outdoors. Obama took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a funny photo of himself posing with Running Wild's Bear Grylls. "Glad this was the only Bear I met in the park," he captioned the picture. Obama, who is on a three-day trip to Alaska to test his wilderness skills and to survey the impact of climate change on the state, also posted a photo of himself taking in the beautiful scenery. "Resurrection Bay is one of those places that reminds you of all the beauty this country has to offer," he wrote. "It's home to whales (I got to see one!), sea lions, and dozens of other species. Surrounded by jagged cliffs and alpine glaciers, this is a place that's worth protecting." Obama's episode of Running Wild will premiere later this year on NBC.
