Avicii, Icona Pop Performing At Swedish Royal Wedding
 

With Sweden's storied lineage of DJs that span from the likes of Adam Beyer, Eric Prydz, Henrik B, Axwell and newcomers such as Alesso and Avicii, it should be ** surprise that those in the highest rung of society would be interested in the genre. According to Swedish website The Local, which cites an interview with Swedish radio station NRJ, Avicii has confirmed that he will be performing at the royal wedding between Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist next month. The "Wake Me Up" DJ joins Icona Pop as confirmed artists who will perform during the June 13 banquet at the Royal Palace.
