Taylor Swift showed her love for her fans once again this week when she called a 12-year-old superfan who's battling cancer. The young fan, Emily Beazley, was 8 years old when she was diag**sed with **n-Hodgkin's lymphoma, according to NBC Chicago, and after a period of remission, the cancer returned. Earlier this week, the family decided to stop chemotherapy because doctors said it wasn't helping anymore, and a block in Chicago's Mt. Greenwood neighborhood was named in her ho**r: Emily Beazley Avenue.

Emily told NBC Chicago how much she adores Taylor, saying, "We would be here all day if I told you why I liked her," and she got the surprise of a lifetime when the singer called her on Tuesday. Emily's mom, Nadia, told the news outlet, "The smile on my daughter [is one] I have **t seen in a very, very long time. I could cry."
