Impecca USA, a Wilkes-Barre, PA firm, is using consumer EEG tech**logy to help you stay focused as you drive. The Alert Band device*is worn on the forehead plus there’s also an earlobe sensor for keeping eye on the heart rate.The system monitors the wearer’s EEG waveforms, recognizing when the person begins to zone out, issuing audio warnings recommending to pull over.

The device is already out of stock, but those that got their hands on one are promised a 20 hour battery life for those extra long trips.
