Citizen’s body still in hospital after 120 days
 

Police are desperately trying to find the family of a Saudi citizen whose dead body has been kept in a private hospital in Jeddah for more than four months. Lt. Col. Ati Al-Qurashi, spokesman for Makkah Police, said ******rs have so far failed to locate any relative of Ali Braik Al-Shamrani. He said the police have subsequently asked the concerned authorities to bury the body after completing the necessary legal procedures in such cases. Omar Al-Kholi, legal adviser of the Human Rights Commission (HRC) in Jeddah, asked the Makkah Gover**rate to intervene and get the body released so it can be buried immediately.
