More than half Haram annex building opens
 

The Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has swung into action to implement the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to open the newly expanded areas of the Grand Mosque in Makkah for use by Umrah pilgrims and visitors. Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, head of the presidency, said that the worshipers will take advantage of more than 50 percent of the newly built annex building on a total area covering more than 53,000 sq. meters. This area has the capacity to hold 150,000 worshipers, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
