Medical error leads to fracture in child’s skull
 

The director of health affairs in Bisha, Amer bin Mshari Al-Sairi, has ordered an investigation into a medical error which resulted in the fracture of the skull of an infant during birth in Sabt Al-Alaya hospital last Saturday. The baby's grandfather, Abdullah Mohammad Al-Qarni, said he took his daughter to the Sabt Al-Alaya general hospital where she underwent a cesarean section surgery. The baby was later transferred to King Abdullah Hospital in Bisha. The grandfather said he took a detailed medical report of the baby, Abdullah, and filed an emergency referral to King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh.
