VH1 Classic will be airing a new rock mini documentary ****** "Rock Icons," featuring several A- and B-list musicians including Slash, Billy Corgan and Ted Nugent. The company that put it together, Banger Films, has a long track record of similar programming, including the channel's 2011 ****** "Metal Evolution" as well as docs "Super Duper Alice Cooper" and "Iron Maiden: Flight 666."
