Belayneh had an excellent run in 2013, winning gold in the 1,500m at the Asian Athletics Championships. The Olympic bronze medallist from Bahrain had a superb outing at the Asian Games in Incheon, winning her third consecutive gold medal in the 1,500m at the Games.*She did an encore in the 5,000m, winning the gold medal.
