"Love & Hip Hop" returned for a new season on VH1 last night, Dec. 15, bringing with it a reunited Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris. Fans of the show are already familiar with the couple's checkered history. They have been a couple for the better part of eight years and parent to their son as well as Harris's older boy from a**ther relationship.This new season picks up right as Harris has made bail after spending 13 months locked up for his alleged role in a drug ring. The first episode showed fans those first few days of togetherness for Smith and Harris, but the truth is it was all filmed months ago. Smith is currently pregnant with a little girl and planning her wedding to Harris while he is still awaiting trial.The Hip Hop Socialite caught up with Smith by phone recently and asked her a lot of the tough questions, like how she manages to deal with some of the negative press and scandalous rumors that have haunted her in recent years.
