When the news broke on Monday, Kate's rep said that the pair had been "separated for some time **w" but that they remain close friends. The pair had been dating since 2010 and welcomed son Bingham Bellamy in July 2011. The pair also got engaged in April 2011. Kate has reportedly already moved on from Matt, as she was spotted getting cozy with Dancing With the Stars dance pro Derek Hough.
