Device, the first of its kind, features tomosynthesis tech**logy that aims to provide greater confidence to surgeons excising tumors that*the entire diseased tissue has been *******.

The volumetric images are created in one scan without having to reposition the sample within the X-ray chamber. The device can be located outside the surgical ward and results wirelessly transmitted to a PACS for clinicians back in the OR to view once the scan is complete. The process is faster than performing repeated 2D scans at different angles and produces a convenient and easy to analyze image that can be rotated and manipulated like any other 3D scan.
