The video focusses on the impact of the conflict on one girl named Shaima, who describes the impact of losing her father and sister. ?I didn?t look at my father?s body,? says Shaima. ?I was afraid his wounds would be as bad as my sister?s. Her head was cut off in the shelling, so I didn?t look.? In a statement accompanying the video, Unicef said, ?Some 230,000 children have received psychosocial support in schools to help them cope with the trauma of conflict and, for children like Shaima, of losing loved ones.?
