Paris meet on Iraq pledges 'appropriate military aid'

Some 30 countries present at a Paris conference on Iraq agreed to provide Baghdad with "appropriate military aid" to combat insurgents of the Islamic State group, a statement issued after the talks said. The statement issued by French officials said tackling the Islamic State group was "a matter of urgency", however it did **t elaborate on what military aid was being envisaged.
