Man held with 1.8 kg gold at IGI airport

New Delhi, Aug 30 (IANS) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Saturday arrested a passenger for illegally carrying 1.8 kg of gold at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport here, an official said. Nadim Ali, in his 40s and a resident of Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, was arrested after the gold was recovered from him Saturday morning, the official said. "Nadim arrived at IGI from a Kuwait flight. Suspecting his activities, the washroom was checked from where a wallet was recovered," said a CISF official.
