ISLAMABAD: As the participants of long marches entered the Red Zone, the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Saleem Bajwa on Wednesday asked the stakeholders to resolve the prevailing impasse through a meaningful dialogue in the larger national interest.
“The situation requires patience, wisdom and sagacity from all stakeholders to resolve prevailing impasse through meaningful dialogue in the larger national interests and public interests,” the DG ISPR said in a statement.
He said the buildings in the Red Zone are symbol of the state and being protected by the army, therefore, the sanctity of these buildings must be respectedEarlier, in a statement, the ISPR said that “troops have been deployed in Islamabad’s Red Zone.” It said a request was sent for the deployment of troops in the Red Zone.
