Amman, Aug 7 (IANS) Israel's bids to separate Gaza Strip from the West Bank and its "criminal" military operations have all failed, Fatah secretary-general in Jordan, Najib Qaddoumi, has said. The Palestinian factions have presented a document with their demands in light of the Egyptian Gaza ceasefire initiative, he said. Egypt is brokering a peace deal between Israel and the Islamist Hamas movement after Israel launched a massive military operation in Gaza July 8 in order to halt Palestinian rocket fire.
