Many young students and employees in Jeddah are taking advantage of the holy month of the Ramadan to practice their hobbies to make some extra financial returns. Most of the roads, main centers, and shopping malls are seeing many people make use of the season's profitability to set up temporary businesses, such as selling sobya, dates of all kinds, and other popular and traditional dishes. Said Al-Ali, an employee at one of the private companies in Jeddah, says Ramadan offers a good opportunity to set up such temporary eco**mic activities. For his part, Turkei Saleh, a student in college, has set up a stall on Qabil Street where he sells samosas during Ramadan.
