Obama backs Egypt cease-fire attempt between Israel, Palestinians

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Wednesday he supports Egypt's attempt to reach a cease-fire between Israel and the Palestinians to head off more deadly clashes.
