Over 54,000 tickets were sold for the smash hit musical which has been in Liverpool three weeks â?? the longest run the waterfront venue has ever hosted.
The milestone follows the ECHO Arenaâ??s win at The Mersey Partnershipâ??s tourism awards where it was voted â??best performance venueâ??.
Sales Manager Ian Congdon said: â??The Mamma Mia run has been hugely successful and weâ??re looking forward to welcoming similar events in the future.â?*
A plaque was presented to the cast, in Liverpool on a world tour.
