</p>Just when you thought there couldnâ??t possibly be anything new to learn about Sir Paul McCartney … along come a couple of little gems.
With the release of his latest album, New, Maccaâ??s been in revelatory mood and not just about music.
Although fans might be interested to learn where the oddly named Queenie Eye, the albumâ??s second single, comes from.
He has rounded up a bunch of celeb pals to appear in the video for the song, including Meryl Streep, Gary Barlow and Insiderâ??s favourite beautiful one-time romantic pairing Kate Moss and Johnny Depp.
But it seems the title has rather humbler origins than its video stars.
The man himself explains that itâ??s based on a chant from his Liverpool childhood days. â??Queenie Eye, Queenie Eye, who’s got the ball? I haven’t got it, it isn’t in my pocket, O-U-T spells OUT!â?* he says. â??Someone stood with their back to the group and you had to approach gingerly, and if they looked around and saw you moving, you were out.â?*
So, thatâ??s sorted that one then. When heâ??s not busy promoting the album and supporting daughter Stellaâ??s fashion outings though, how does the man who tops the Sunday Times Rich List of musicians with the آ£680m fortune like to spend his spare time?
Turns out heâ??s a bit of a DIY fan.
Apparently he likes nothing more than a trip to his local B&Q whenever he gets the chance.
â??I like doing regular things because it balances the high-profile aspect,â?* he says. â??If I need to hang pictures I can pop out and buy a hammer and some nails without any fuss.â?*
Sir Paul might also like to bear in mind, now heâ??s 71, that B&Q does also have a reputation for employing older workers …

Controversial Blurred Lines singer Robin Thicke was spotted getting mobbed by starstruck fans at the Hilton Hotel ahead of his performance at the ECHO arena.
The American star checked into the Liverpool One hotel and if it was a low-key arrival that Robin was hoping for he didn’t quite manage it as crowds of shoppers spotted him arriving.
Not one to shy away Robin seemed more than happy to stop and pose for photos and sign autographs including some for members of staff who were understandably a little excited to have him staying at the hotel.
Our spy reports that he also invited a group of fans who had been waiting out of the cold weather for over two hours to come inside and meet him.

WHILE the contestants on this yearâ??s TV dance-off are busy brushing up their sambas, spare a thought for Wirral actress Ann Marie Davies who is putting the rehearsal hours in away from the cameras.
Ann Marie, who is married to MK Dons manager Karl Robinson, is taking part in a Strictly MK contest raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and their local hospice in Milton Keynes.
The event, over October 26 and 27, boasts guest judges Richard Arnold from Daybreak and Matt Baker from The One Show, and host Andrew Castle.
Ann Marie is hoping to get Liverpool texting to support her efforts. She tells Insider: â??At first I struggled with the technical side of things but my dance partner Neil has got tremendous drive and patience and, like me, wants to pick up that trophy and take the winnerâ??s spot!â?*
As for practising at home, Ann Marie admits thatâ??s a non-starter. â??The only time Karl has had to dance with me was on our wedding day which probably lasted all of 30 seconds before our daughter Jasmine joined in!â?*
