</p>Liverpool model Abbey Clancy has admitted that she dreaded speculation about backstage romance at Strictly Come Dancing so much that she hoped for a gay partner.
Abbey, 27, who is married footballer Peter Crouch said: â??I think it was one of the reservations I had about it really.
â??I didnâ??t really want to bring any of that attention home. On the launch show I was desperate to have Robin (Windsor).
â??When I didnâ??t get him, I was crying my eyes out and got paired with Aljaإ¾ (Skorjanec). But I know what went on and he knows what went on, so itâ??s not like that, youâ??re just learning to dance.â?*

â??People are like, â??youâ??re actually alright,â?? and Iâ??m like, â??Iâ??m just always myselfâ??. A few of the cast were like, â??Oh, I thought youâ??d be a bit of a k*** in real life, but youâ??re notâ??.
People see my modelling and see me getting papped all the time and donâ??t really get to see me because I donâ??t do much TV or whatever.
â??I went on to learn how to dance and have fun, which I did, and on the way people made a different opinion of me.â?*
Abbeyâ??s two-year-old daughter Sophia is following in mumâ??s designer footsteps.
â??Sheâ??s definitely got her own style,â?* laughed Abbey.
â??Every day we have fights because she will not wear anything I pick out. Her favourite thing is when they have an accident in nursery and they give them a spare T-shirt? She wants to wear it every day for the whole week. I think itâ??s nice for her to have her own style. Even if it is a bit wacky.â?*
Abbey has also said she would love to have more children: â??Iâ??m one of four and Iâ??ve always dreamed of having a huge family. Iâ??ve loved every second of having Sophia. Itâ??s been just the most amazing time of my life. Iâ??d love more of it.â?*
She was also full of praise for hubby Peter: â??Heâ??s a better dad than I am mum. I was a bit worried when I got pregnant because heâ??s not used to being around kids, whereas I am. He just took to it like a duck to water. Heâ??s changed a million nappies, done night feeds, everything. Itâ??s amazing to see how much of a great dad he is.â?*
Abbey is on the Jonathan Ross Show tomorrow night on ITV1 at 10.05pm.
