</p>So itâ??s week two of the audition stages. It may have only been back on TV for only a week, but this yearâ??s competition is already proving a hit with viewers, attracting 9.5 million â?? so was it Cherylâ??s tidy leather catsuit or Mel Bâ??s tears?

Canâ??t believe TOWIE star Jasmin Walia flopped in front of the judges with her verson of Clean Banditâ??s Rather Be. It only proved she canâ??t sing or act! Stick to your day job.

I really miss my friend and mentor Gary Barlow on the show to be honest but the biggest changes this year is the judging panel. For those that donâ??t know, the four categories are over 25s, groups, boys and girls, with the reformed age limit meaning contestants can now enter from as young as 14, which I think is far too young.

As well as the new panel, former judge Tulisa Contostavlos will make her return, but only helping out at the judgesâ?? house stage. She last appeared on the show in 2012 with me and as youâ??ll agree has since fallen on rather turbulent times.

Scouse receptionist Maria Ellinas sang one of Simonâ??s favourite songs â?? Street Life â?? made the judges fall about with laughter by pronouncing street as shtreet, but the comedy moment worked for her as they put the 26 year old through to the arena. Good luck girl!

“Theyâ??d say it makes great telly but itâ??s not a singing competition anymore, itâ??s a telly show, and Iâ??m sure youâ??ll agree with me on that one.”

Party babe Ten sang her own song called 15 Minutes after being out all night on a bender and didnâ??t sound bad even though she hadnâ??t had any sleep. She did annoy the judges a bit as they thought she didnâ??t take it seriously enough, but they gave her a chance. I think sheâ??ll be an absolute nightmare.

The chaos of last weekâ??s show made me think that the producers had something of a re-think this week as it was definitely a car crash tone down and somewhat enjoyable.

I didnâ??t think much of Sundayâ??s show if Iâ??m honest. One night is more than enough but however there was the usual ritual of humiliation that the show is known for and this weekâ??s biggest sacrifice gong goes to Queen Christina the British verson of Lady Gaga.

She looked mad as a box of frogs and even though people continue to put themselves though this process or should i say machine, I passionately feel producers still have a duty of care and should not mess about with peopleâ??s lives.

Theyâ??d say it makes great telly but itâ??s not a singing competition anymore, itâ??s a telly show, and Iâ??m sure youâ??ll agree with me on that one.

The joke acts get less and less funny with each episode. It just doesnâ??t even have the cringe funny factor like it once might have had and I honestly think itâ??s finally running out of people to ridicule or maybe weâ??ve just seen it all before.

The real winners are not the stars of the show but the producers. With the superficiality of it all have we all descended into a nation of superficial creatures eating out Cowellâ??s hand? I think definitely YES and weâ??re all to blame as we canâ??t get enough of it.

There was only one genuine moment for me this week was when Monica Michael, the lady who helps under-privileged kids make music. She definitely pulled on my heartstrings and had me rooting for her as it was very touching and made great TV.
