</p> X Factor hopeful Kiera Weathers said she wanted to put St Helens on the map by making it to the live shows.
But it seems the teenage barmaid has made quite a big impression on her hometown already.
The budding star – who massively impressed judges at this yearâ??s boot camp – was presented with a special X Factor cake by St Helens boxer Martin Murray.
Kelly Diggle Hillman of Cakes By Design recreated Kieraâ??s audition in front of the star panel including the showâ??s boss Simon Cowell.
The cake decorator extraordinaire has baked for the likes of celebrity Kerry Katona and fighter Martin Murray from her St Helens shop on Claughton Street.
She said: â??I thought of Martin to present Kiera with the cake as heâ??s a local boxer and itâ??s nice of him to be backing Kiera who is a St Helens girl too.
â??We wanted to show her the whole town is behind her.â?*
* The second episode of X Factor boot camp airs on Sunday, September 27 at 7pm on ITV.
