RAWALPINDI: Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry Monday said the Supreme Court was the supreme institution but its decision in the case pertaining to extension in the tenure of the Army Chief had raised several questions.In his tweets, Fawad asked which institution should be called supreme. The Supreme Court or Parliament?"Let's suppose, the Supreme Court can give direction to Parliament. This means the Supreme Court is the supreme institution."He said specifying the tenure of the Army Chief was an executive function and the president, the prime minister and the cabinet could not be separated.“How Parliament can use the powers of prime minister, while it is not an administrative institution?”“How the Supreme Court can direct Parliament to specify tenure of the Army Chief?” But, he said the final decision will be taken by the Supreme Court and that judgment carries several lacuna.http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/com/cwEr/~4/i9V6U_Nkoro
