Pakistan listed top tourist destination for 2020

ISLAMABAD: One of the world’s best travel magazines, Condè Nast, has listed Pakistan as top tourist destination for next year, the Radio Pakistan reported.Highlighting Pakistan’s scenic and mesmerising tourist attractions, it said Pakistan has more peaks taller than 22,965 ft, as compared to China and Nepal combined, making it attractive spot for adventure travellers and hikers.The magazine said visitors can traverse the 12,250 ft Shandur Pass, home to the world’s highest polo field, or meet with Kalash people of Hindu Kush, famous for their cowrie-shell headdresses.The magazine also mentioned the recent visit of Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, to Pakistan and the measures taken by the present government for boosting tourism, including relaxed visa restrictions.http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/com/cwEr/~4/FwDpbKN8akE
