SEATTLE — It's been rumored for years that Amazon (http://mashable.com/category/Amazon?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=) has been working on a smartphone of its own, but today is the day we'll finally see it rear its head. Its probable 3D, six-camera'd head, that is.
The company is expected to launch its first-ever smartphone at a mystery event (http://mashable.com/2014/06/04/amazon-mystery-event-june-2014/?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=) held at Fremont Studios in Seattle on Wednesday, and we'll be on the ground giving you all the details as the news rolls in. The event kicks off at 1:30 p.m. ET, but we'll be chatting live starting at 12:30 p.m. ET.
