SCLC - Treating Small Cell Lung Cancer

There are two main types of lung cancer. The more common non-small cell lung cancer, and the faster growing small cell lung cancer which affects only a minority of lung cancer patients, but where between 60 - 70% of patients diagnosed are already in a late stage. Because of this late stage diagnosis, treating the disease is usually very difficult.
