The total world crude steel production is on a high at 1530 Million Tons. There have been massive increases in world steel trade in products, in the span of four decades. The statistics of finished steel products, exports, imports, production, etc. are overwhelming. Despite a slump for a period in the last couple of years, the industry has been thriving significantly and improving itself with a latest range of technologies, which basically focuses on eco-efficient production and recovery, steel material's reuse and recycling, technology breakthroughs, health, and safety.
