Monetarism in Economics

Monetarism is actually a set of views depending on the perception that the entire sum of money in an economy is actually the main determinant of economic development. Monetarism is directly linked with economist Milton Friedman, who argued, dependent on the amount concept of cash, that the federal government must maintain the money supply relatively constant, expanding it slightly every year largely to allow for the organic progress of the economy.
