It's no secret that the journey from "job seeker" to "hired" is full of obstacles scattered along the way. For some it's the resume and actually landing an interview to begin with, that presents the biggest challenge. For others, landing interviews is easy - it's acing the interview and getting the job offer that's the tricky part. Interviewing regularly, without the ability to close the deal can feel more like a jog on a hamster wheel and can be extremely frustrating (especially knowing the job is so close within reach). If landing interviews, but not the offer is where you're getting tripped up, it's time to hit the pause button, take a step back and embrace your failure as a huge learning opportunity before moving on to one more interview. (I mean it. Do not accept one more interview until you've done this). Here's some food for thought when it comes to embracing interview failure and turning it into a new job:
