The book is about a marketing system where you trade your time to create a repetitive income, instead of trading your time for money. The number of hours in a day restricts the amount of time you can use to increase your income level. I believe this is the key here. In the book it proposes doing some work, which is partly related to selling products online and which can sell 24 hours per day to generate recurring income. What you need is the knowledge to succeed which detail is not covered in the book.
