All in all they are the remnant of Saddam’s failed army; bunch of criminals which have **thing to do with any decent army in the world. To tell you the truth, the Iraqi Army is shameful since its foundation. They never defended Iraq probably as they were only busy making coups upon coups, treachery upon treachery throughout the decades and since its foundation. Iraq needs proper army from the people and to the people and will only be the case when there is a democratic system in place. A major and continued campaign in educating people of the meaning of democracy is required so to make people love their country rather than figures or parties. Only then one will have an army which can be trusted and respected.
