RAWALPINDI: The military’s top brass has expressed its resolve to support the government and all stakeholders in the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP)as they convened for the 220th Corps Commanders’ Conference.The conference, presided over by Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters on Tuesday, reviewed the geo-strategic environment and ongoing situation along the Eastern border, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release said.The conference expressed strong will, resolve and determination to defend the motherland against any misadventure or aggression. The forum reiterated that it would continue its efforts for bringing enduring peace in the country while supporting all initiatives towards regional peace.“Having achieved stability against terrorism, Pakistan is on positive trajectory of becoming a state where prerogative of use of weapons rests with the state alone and socio-economic development is taking pre-eminence,” the Army chief concluded.http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/com/cwEr/~4/pYyd4YY-TCM
