Bilawal to meet Nawaz Sharif in jail

LAHORE: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari due to meet meet former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Kotlakhpat jail.According to Geo News, the Punjab Home Department has issued a notification allowing the PPP chairman to meet Sharif.Bilawal had sought the permission to meet the ailing PMLN supreme leader in the prison by sending an application to the Punjab Home Department seeking permission the visit in the jail where Nawaz Sharif is serving jail term in Al-Azizia case.The former prime minister has been suffering from a heart disease.Maryam Nawaz Sharif recently said her father has refused to get treatment for his medical condition. Senior journalist Mazhar Abbas says Bilawal Bhutto would meet Nawaz Sharif in a bid to pursue him to get immediate medical treatmentMaryam Nawaz had demanded the authorities provide medical care to her father inside the jail. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari recently urged government treat Nawaz Sharif's illness seriously and provide proper medical care."Appalled to hear of the callous and inhumane treatment of imprisoned former PM Nawaz Sharif by the government.
