CBS Filmsâ?? upcoming documentary â??Pavarottiâ?* got its first look during the 61st Grammy Awards on Sunday night. Itâ??s the third music doc from Oscar-winning director Ron Howard, following his 2013 look at Jay-Zâ??s â??Made in Americaâ?* and the 2016 doc â??The Beatles: Eight Days A Week.â?*
Created from a combination of Luciano Pavarottiâ??s iconic performances â?? including his memorable performance of Giacomo Pucciniâ??s aria â??Nessun dormaâ?* â?? and granted access to never-before-seen footage, â??Pavarottiâ?* promises an intimate portrait of the most beloved opera singer of all time.
â??The reason why he is great is he lived those songs,â?* U2 frontman Bono says in the TV spot.
