Online travel booking site Expedia an**unced it will accept Bitcoin (http://mashable.com/category/bitcoin/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) for hotel reservations beginning Wednesday.

"Bitcoin is a great example of how Expedia is investing early in an array of payment options to give our customers and partners more choice in the ways they interact with us," said Michael Gulmann, Expedia's vice president of global product.
