Dressage Ears/fly veils and dressage

Hi chaps,I know you didn't used to be able to wear ear veils inside when competing under BD rules but I've just downloaded the BD picture tack guide and it has a nice green tick next to a picture of a fly veil with no comments about outside use only?!Any BD-ers out there that can give me a yay or nay on the inside ears?
