Living in New York City makes it extremely difficult to own a pet. As a dog owner and someone who grew up in what some would consider a small zoo, k**wing that it's nearly impossible for my dog to live here affects me. Despite working in a dog-friendly ******, it would be unfair to pull my 85-pound pup from the spacious backyard and spoils of my parents' home in Virginia. **t to mention the unlikelihood in finding a reasonably priced apartment that would accommodate her.
