Any tips/advice?

I am looking for a field to rent to move the boys. I am having no luck. I've popped a few adverts online, and also been searching daily for any adverts put up. How did you find your field? Did you approach a farmer, or pop a note on gates? Also, what size would you recommend for x2 geldings? I was thinking a minimum of 2 acres.
