Sterilization (Women) - Active riders / Competitors

Has anyone here had the Sterilization operation done and how is it when riding?Did you have to take much time off from riding?Does it hurt when riding even now? Its something I want done but if its going to effect my riding then I wont. Sounds daft but I know they can clamp it and I have a funny idea about objects in my tummy. Thank you
