Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki stood firm at a Friday morning*press conference as he an**unced the start of VA reforms amid calls for his resignation.
He was set to meet with President Barack Obama later in the morning, but while he apologized publicly, he did **t appear to indicate any willingness to step down.
