Blooming thunderstorms

All the major roads in the area flooded, though I didn't know when I set out to the yard. Got routed through one car width narrow lanes, 25 cars having to reverse up that when other end closed due to flood. Petrol running on nearly empty, took me two hours for a 20 min usual return trip and I didn't actually get to the yard ! More rain tonight apparently, strangely after all the rain weve had the last few weeks there are still mutterings about a water shortage !
